I realise it’s often described as being the beautiful game.
But for the majority of male spectators this must have been wonderful, even heavenly sport.
A dozen young girls battled to score in a thrilling end to end game of football. There was no question that being ‘fit’ was a perquisite for team selection as near naked girls chased around after a single ball.
The girls in the six-a-side teams wore nothing but thongs, with the national colours painted on to their bare skin revealing very intimate areas of their bodies something their male counterparts never seem to for our benefit.
Yet did anyone really care about the result played on Sunday June 15 in Vienna? Well Doris Fastenmeir, a 29-year-old bank employee certainly seemed to.
She told Reuters: “We played pretty hard; we even had some injuries, like I for example broke my toe nail”
